My name is Erin McDermott and I am currently a BFA2 student at CalArts where I study Character Animation. I love drawing and painting from life. I am interested in Animation and Visual Development.

For the past two years I have been a Teaching Assistant for the CalArts Animation Summer Residency. I love helping other artists grow and find their passion. I also completed my first student film, where I learned how to storyboard, design, animate, and add sound effects. My film was done traditionally on paper with charcoal. It was as rewarding as it was challenging.
