- ABOUT THE ARTIST -

Erin McDermott is a published editorial cartoonist, design artist, and filmmaker. She graduated CalArts with a BFA in Character Animation and has worked on projects such as the Oscar winning short, 'Hair Love,' by Sony Pictures Animation. She is currently working as a Life Drawing and Character Design Instructor for CalArts.

Erin loves spooky, dark, and charming films. Her favorite animated films/shows include Coraline, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and James & The Giant Peach.

Originally from North Carolina, Erin now resides in Santa Monica with her loving husband, a 14 year old cat, and one very rambunctious puppy.
